Does AppleCare come with the iPhone lease?

No. AppleCare is separate from Apple Upgrade. Add the exact monthly or fixed-term coverage price to both lease and purchase comparisons.

What happens after 12 months?

A 12-month initial term ends with a choice to return, start a newly approved lease, or pay the quoted purchase option. Completing 12 payments does not transfer ownership.

Is the leased iPhone unlocked?

Apple says it remains unlocked, but current checkout still requires selection of AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon and does not support prepaid service.

How much is the iPhone buyout?

There is no universal residual percentage. Use the purchase-option amount or credited-payment figures in your individual Klarna disclosure.
